You may already be aware that we have a long history of working with the hospitality sector – providing everything from branding and visual identity to menus, flyers, e-mailers and digital marketing, promotional items and event signage – we can even provide our hospitality clients with branded uniforms.
You would have to have been living underwater to have missed all the press coverage surrounding Good Hotel since it made its journey via the North Sea canal to its current home floating at the Royal Victoria Docks.
To say that it is a hotel with a difference is something of an understatement. There are many things that make Good Hotel different-in-a-good-way. These are just a few:
- • Talk about an entrance: Good Hotel was launched in Amsterdam where it stayed for a year, before its 8 million kilo structure was shipped by submersible barge to its current home in London where it will be for five years
- • Doing good for the local community: Good Hotel provides long-term training to local people who have been unemployed – and then offers them a contract and contacts in the hospitality industry so that they can gain confidence, build a new future and reintegrate into the economy
- • Dutch design meets cool Britannia: Good Hotel’s provides unique views across the iconic Thames from its rooftop bar, while inside the theme is industrially-inspired cool by well-known Dutch designers
- • Something for everyone: The cool design continues in Good Hotel’s 148 en-suite rooms, 120 capacity café and restaurant, and small to XL-sized meeting rooms
So you can imagine how delighted we are to announce that – yes, you’ve guessed it – we are working with Good Hotel!
Good Hotel’s simple but iconic branding is fantastically versatile to work with and the sustainability theme continues with printing on eco-friendly, recycled card which we carefully sourced for them.
They wanted to work with us because we are a local firm (we are also based at the royal docks) and because of our reputation within the hospitality sector for reliability and good turnaround times.
One of Good Hotel’s challenges, because of their status as a unique not-for-profit organisation, was working with a strict, transparent budget. Not only have we worked with many hotels, we have also worked with many not-for-profit organisations. We were able to advise them on the options that would best suit their brand, values and budget.
From global names to busy boutiques, we can replicate your existing brand or create a totally new identity for you. And we are known for delivering highly competitive print solutions to hospitality organisations of all sizes.
In the meantime, we applaud Good Hotel and look forward to hearing many more good things…
