Designing a digital hospital

Hot on the heels of Southwark offering digital health checks in order to engage with harder to reach patients – something we have championed and worked in partnership with the NHS on for many years – Lanarkshire is designing Scotland’s first ‘digital hospital’. The revolutionary new hospital will enable real-time communication across the site so that beds can be better allocated and nurses, doctors and patients will be able to access information immediately and centrally to better allocate resources.

Communication across Lanarkshire’s new hospital is the key to differentiating it from traditional hospitals and determining its increased efficiency.
