Designers have probably helped you more than you know
Those instructional safety posters and signage when you or your loved-ones went out? Someone designed and printed them. The infographic that your friend shared on social media which gave you additional information about Covid-19? Someone designed that. The news website where you could check the statistics in your area? Someone designed that too. That meme or cartoon that kept your spirits up? Yep, that’ll be a designer.
Celebrating designers
Although the Design Week Awards 2020 did not have an actual ceremony this year due to lockdown, the organisers have still done all that they can to maximise exposure for all the designers involved. You can show your support by checking them out here! There are some amazing projects being showcased which are bound to leave you feeling inspired when it comes to refreshing your brand or your next marketing campaign.
Supporting designers
We have a proud history of supporting up-and-coming designers by taking on local apprentices and helping them get their foot in the door. Many have stayed with us for a long time and gone on to achieve big things which makes us very happy! Although times are difficult for everyone, and this is set to continue for some time, we believe now it is more important than ever to come together as an industry and show support to each other, whilst nurturing new talent. We will continue to do whatever we can to achieve this.
