Case Study: iXact

We began working with iXact, the revolutionary demand-led cleansing and support management company that intelligently uses mobile ICT, when they won last year’s Newham Business Awards. Our background in the public sector and related services, combined with iXact’s innovative approach has made for a great partnership and some design, print and web campaigns that have really hit the mark…

The background

iXact is an exciting new company with local roots, serving local people that is revolutionising the way public sector operations are managed. In 2017, they were awarded a five-year contract to deliver street and estate cleansing operations to a population of over 100,000 residents within the wards of Forest Gate (North & South); Green Street (East & West); West Ham and Strafford and New Town. Using smart data tailored solutions, they are able to provide a demand-led operation which is proven to be more efficient in every sense of the word.

The brief

iXact wanted to reach out to a number of different audiences: they needed a quarterly newsletter for their diverse workforce which helped to motivate and build morale; they required an online and print presence which engaged stakeholders and emphasised their USPs; all materials needed to be instantly recognisable as the iXact brand and convey complex information in a format that was easy to digest. 

The solutions

We used the vibrant iXact brand colours of purple, teal and orange on all materials in a number of creative ways. We went with a traditional format for the staff newsletter and used plenty of images of iXact personnel to create a friendly team feel. The hero image for use on their website needed to convey that they were a public services provider but also the innovative way that they used technology to manage this. We delivered a graphic that was part icon (to show the use of technology and incorporate branding) and part image (to show the services they provided and the technology in action). We also created a simple infographic about their innovative staff rewards scheme for distribution to all teams.

The results

iXact continue to go from strength to strength, from winning awards for their needs-based training and development strategies to receiving praise on social media for the excellent work their teams are doing on the streets. We are proud to play a part in such a forward-thinking organisation!
