Our MD is doing his bit this Movember by growing a full moustache and seeking sponsorship for enduring an increasingly itchy face. Movember traditionally takes place throughout November and sees men growing all kinds of facial hair for Men’s Health charities – many of which are very close to our hearts. But this year Surinder is donating his sponsorship money to Little Havens Children’s Hospice, where his nephew was cared for in 2016.
Little Havens Children’s Hospice provides care and support to families and children with life-threatening or life-limiting illnesses. They provide a range of services including diagnosis, respite, symptom control, counselling and end of life care. Whether they care for a child for months, weeks or just hours, their aim is to make a real difference to their life and make every moment count.
Sometimes it’s the smaller things that Little Havens Hospice does that makes the real difference to the families in their care – from complementary therapies, private swimming, working with schools and social groups where the children can just have fun and spend a little time just being children again.
All the care at Little Havens Hospice is free of charge to families and as a charity it relies on donations. Surinder would like to raise as much as possible to help Little Havens continue the life-changing work they do for children and families. But also every little helps. So whether you are able to donate £50 or £5, please click here and don’t forget to share this story with your friends, families and colleagues so they can donate (and laugh at Surinder’s increasingly full moustache) too!
